Oh, Whiskey, you have only been here for a few days but we love you so. What are we going to do in two weeks when you go home? To whom are we going to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and snuggle up with when we are tired? Or use as an excuse to throw the ball to when really we only want to head to the canyon? Who is going to warm up our feet on the couch at night? Or take up the whole bed? Or help us get motivated to walk long distances again? Who is going to be our shadow, a shadow that we complain about having but we all know that we really really like having...even if that shadow does lick our legs a bit more than we would like...Do you really want to go home to that other family? Can you just stay for a little while longer? Please? I bet they don't give you as many treats as we do...
