What a wonderful day we had today. We woke up and had a delicious breakfast of chocolate, jelly beans and lollipops. We followed that by a lunch of cupcakes and strawberries. Dinner? Carrot cake. In between we played and played with our favorite Teentz, hunted for some eggs, had everyone do the Ring Around The Rosie, and just had a wonderful wonderful day.
The most exciting part of the day? The at least 45 second long 7.2 earthquake that was centered about 100 miles east of here. The house shook so bad that the pictures swayed and some things fell off the shelf in Teigue's room. We were all a little freaked as none of us had ever felt an earthquake so strong or one that lasted so long. OK, maybe a lot freaked. It actually felt as if the air was moving- it was a strange experience. That earthquake was followed by 8, yes eight. aftershocks measuring 2.3, 4.5, 5.1, 3.8, 3.6, 4.7, 3.5, and 3.4. Crazy end to a wonderful day.
