Here in the Fox household we are going through the awful, no fun, makes me want to scream Terrible Twos. Ugh. It also doesn't help that the little terror lady and I are so similar in personalities that this stage is much more difficult than it was with Teiguee. It may have also helped that Teigue was solo so he didn't have the joy of an older brother pushing his buttons like Jayno is lucky enough to have.
I have discovered that if we stay inside during the day the terribles are much more terrible than if we are able to run around and play outdoors. Well, today it rained. Not so good. I decided that instead of staying home and being miserable, we should head on out to the zoo to find some puddles to jump in.
We didn't find many puddles perfect for jumping but we did find a real helicopter to practice our flying skills at the new Polar Bear Plunge.
Then, on the way out, after getting properly soaked in the rain, we discovered a full on waterfall falling off of one of the buildings. Teigue was very excited about this and needed to investigate.
But there was no way my little boy would go into the water.
OK, maybe just a small dip.
Or, maybe just discover what fun a waterfall falling off a building is and have to stand under it for a good 5 minutes and getting truly properly soaked. So soaked that this little 4 year old's rain boots had a good 3 inches of water in them.
