Siblings

When I was pregnant with Stella, I was terrified of what was to come. How would Teigue and Stella get along together? Would they love each other...or fight? Would Teigue be a good brother? How would she be as a little sister? I was so so silly to worry.

Teigue and Stella get along so much better than we could have ever imagined. They are such buddies, and they truly love each other. Brady and I love to watch them interact and play. She shadows him and adores her brother. Teigue is such a protector and teacher. We are thankful.

In Stella's eyes Teigue can:

Heal boo boos. She makes him kiss them.

Keep monsters away. He holds her hand in dark places and tells her he will fight them for her.

Be a rock star, and she the dancer. He plays the drums while she dances on their "stage".

Never be wrong. She confirms everything that he says is true. Even if it is that they had worms for lunch.

Be someone to cuddle with. They snuggle together on the couch and in Stella's cozy reading corner.

Teach her things. He quizzes her on the sounds of letters and corrects her when she is wrong. He has shown her how to throw rocks the proper way in rivers.

Keep her safe and protected. He shows her how to go down slides- even holding her at times. If kids get too close to her he comes over and takes her hand.

We love you Teigue and Janyo. Thanks for loving each other so much. We hope you have this relationship forever.
