Happy Kids

I discovered yesterday that sometimes kids do not need a ton of toys to play with (which ours do not), a fancy video game (well...), or the newest gadget. Sometimes the only thing that they need is a bucket, some rocks and a hose. That will keep them entertained for quite some time. Just make sure that the area in which they are playing with said bucket does not contain an ant hill. Not so much fun getting 1,000 ants off a little boy...

Last night we went to our favorite FAVORITE new restaurant, The Station. This place is genius. They have a simple menu of good burgers, great beer selection,fries, tater tots (love tater tots, they will forever remind me of my Nana), and the best part- a simple play area for the kids to play.

It is not a Chucky Cheese type of place- it is a place for adults to go and sit around and actually enjoy a fun night while their kids play with other neighborhood kids. Genius. So, last night we went and had a lovely evening...and made funny faces for the camera.
