Happy Birfday to Daddy

When I was taking Teigue to school today I was asking him what he thought he perfect gift would be for Brady.

Teigue, what do you think we should get Daddy for his birthday? A fishing pole

Do you think that Daddy will use a fishing pole? Oh yeah.

Hmmm...I don't think Daddy really likes to fish what else do you think we should get him? Fishing line

OK...lets think of something else that isn't about fishing what do you think he would like? Oh, oh! I have a good idea Mommy. I think that Daddy wants a fishing pole and a T Rex.

How about something that Daddy will use? Something that he will enjoy? Mommy, who's stronger, a T Rex or King Kong?

The kids also had Day 3 of swim lessons. The verdict so far? We love it. Teigue dove under water to get objects on the floor of the pool and did a sweet dive into the water. Jayno is swimming to the edge of the pool. Teigue told me that he wants to stay in his swim lessons forever. Works for me.

The end of our perfect day? Sushi and then snuggling on the couch watching Wall-E (with a pomegranate in Teigue's hand).
