We have a long stretch of dirt on the side of our house that has been slightly neglected since we have moved in um...4 years ago. It once held a very long birdcage (oh the joy of being clueless first time homeowners), then some ferns that were just not happy (and required too much water...bad in a drought). So on Sunday we headed out to our favorite garden center to pick up some ground cover that will just cover the area and make it just absolutely beautiful and stunning. Hopefully.
Of course when we get to any garden center, the Fox children must make a direct path to any sort of water feature and play in the water, without care to the quality of water in the feature.
Luckily for Brady, we have Teigue to help with the gardening and provide some great conversation. Such as how every living thing is made out of dirt. Oh wait, except robots. What are robots made out of? Steel. Oh yeah, that makes sense.
Brady was also informed by Teigue that he was Teigue's best friend. That made a couple of Foxes a bit teary eyed.
Chocolate is very much needed while gardening.
